Bangkok Prep Exam Analysis for A2 and IGCSE 2016

Our 55 Year 11 students’ successes show a consolidation in the recent steady growth of our examinations results; 87.0% of grades were at A*- C, significantly higher than the UK’s 66.9%. The most notable achievements within the cohort was one student with 8 A* grades, two students with 8 A*/A’s, one student with 7 A*/A grades and six students with 6A*/As. 80.0% of students achieved 5 x IGCSEs at A*- C.

Bangkok Prep students again performed consistently above the UK national average and continued our upward trend in our three-year rolling averages.
GCE A Level (A2) Results 2016
Bangkok Prep’s 22 graduates provided our best ever pass-rate in A2 results of 98.5% with an A*/A/B rate of 54.4%, almost identical to last year’s excellent results. Three notable individual performances were; 1 x A*/3 x A grades, 4 x A grades whilst another gained 2 x A/2 x B grades
Our three-year rolling averages continue to improve and outperform UK national averages.
Nearly all of our 22 Bangkok Prep graduates are set to read a wide range of courses around the world. Three students are still undecided and are likely to take up opportunities after Gap Years. The 2016 graduates will be furthering their interests and studies in the fields of Anthropology, Veterinary Medicine, Psychology, Engineering and Business Administration to name a few.
